OMIM (Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man) contains information on all known Mendelian disorders and over 12,000 genes and focuses on the relationship between phenotype and genotype. This hands-on workshop will explore OMIM’s database of human genes and genetic disorders. It is designed to help you use OMIM more effectively. You will learn: how to search OMIM using different methods, navigate a record and learn what the numbers and symbols mean that precede the record.
This workshop will be held on Monday, November 5th from 11:00-12:00. Please join us! You can sign up here. Scroll down the list of classes to find OMIM: Introduction.
