On Wednesday, May 8, Strong P.E.T.S. volunteers will stop by @ 3:00 p.m., after their “rounds” on the patient units.
Got a few minutes? Join us on Wednesday. This will be your last chance to visit with this very special team until next academic year.
Oh, and in case you missed it, during the University of Rochester Medical Center Board’s annual meeting earlier this year, Board Chair George Hamlin presented 2012 Excellence Awards to some of the institution’s most exceptional teams, for their unwavering personal and professional dedication. One of the Excellence Awards was presented to the all-volunteer Strong P.E.T.S. (Pets Engaged in Therapeutic Socialization) team, celebrating their more than 12 years of incredible service. Well done!
