Looking for a Journal’s Impact Factor?

Miner Library has just the resource to find it!!

It is called Journal Citation Reports (JCR).  You can access it:

—– From the left sidebar of our homepage under MORE…

——On the left sidebar of our homepage, click on Web of Science, then click on the yellow tab that says Additional Resources.  One of the choices on the following page is Journal Citation Reports (JCR).

Once you arrive at the JCR homepage , you will have a choice of searching for a specific title, or viewing a group of journals by subject category.   If you choose a subject, you will be taken to an alphabetical list of journals.  To see the journals in order of their Impact Factors, look for the SORTED BY search box in the upper left of the screen.  In the drop down menu, choose Impact Factor, then click on the SORT AGAIN button.  You will then see the journals sorted by Impact Factor.

Sounds easy?  It is!!!  But if the JCR is not working well for you, please remember you can always Ask A Librarian for help !!!
