PubMed: Advanced – For PubMed Users Who Want to Know More. This hands-on class covers searching with MeSH, searching in specific fields using tags, advanced author searching, and more. Designed for people who know how to use the basic features of PubMed and are ready for the next step.
Using My NCBI – A Productivity Booster, Researcher’s Aide, & PubMed Customizer. With My NCBI, a free feature of PubMed, you can set up an account and save time:
•Save searches and receive automatic e-mailed updates of citations new to the database.
•Set up Collections to save citations of interest permanently – and share with others.
•Customize search features and set up search filters in PubMed.
•Manage professional bibliographies – a valuable feature for compliance with NIH Public Access Mandate.
