PubMed for Mobiles

The newly released PubMed® Mobile Beta provides a free mobile-friendly Web interface for searching PubMed.  Search results display the article title, first author’s name, journal title abbreviation, and year of publication and can be filtered to show only Free Full Text articles or Review articles. Click on the title to see the abstract and related citations.

PubMed Mobile does not include specialized search pages, such as Limits and Advanced search, or added features, such as My NCBI, Clipboard, or the FindText@UR links to the UR libraries electronic journals. To use these and other PubMed features, display your retrieval in Standard PubMed via the link at the bottom of the screen.

Another free option for searching PubMed using your mobile device is PubMed@UR  for Handhelds. It provides a general PubMed search as well as a PICO search template, Clinical Queries searches and the ability to browse abstracts from your favorite journals. It also allows you to link to the libraries’ electronic journals.
