Between Monday, April 11, and Friday, May 6, 2011, we’ll be collecting new and gently used goods to help the House of Mercy.
The House of Mercy is a grassroots homeless and advocacy center that provides food, clothing, shelter and assistance to some of the poorest people in Rochester. Their doors are open 24/7. Without the help of dedicated volunteers and donors, Mercy would not be able to help those whose lives are wracked by poverty, crime, addiction, and despair.
Here’s a list of needed items:
-Toothbrushes and toothpaste
-Combs and hair brushes
-Towels and wash cloths
-Coffee and sugar
Please place your donations in the box just inside Miner Library’s front entrance.
And from all of us…thank you!
