Librarians travel to Pacific Northwest

You may notice that it’s a little quieter than usual here for the next week or so. That’s because some of our librarians will be presenting posters and papers, attending continuing education classes, networking, and absorbing the latest developments in technology at this year’s Medical Library Association Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Seattle, Washington, from May 18-23.

The theme of the meeting this year is “Growing Opportunities – Changing Our Game.” One of the featured speakers is Steven Johnson, best-selling author of seven books on the intersection of science, technology, and personal experience. Johnson’s newest book is titled, Where Good Ideas Come From: The Natural History of Innovation. Awesome!

Please DO continue to “Ask A Librarian” in the coming days. Those of us not traveling west for the conference will be ready, willing, and able to serve you.
