“High Noon” returns on 2/27 with a Smackdown!

Biblio-Management Smackdown 2: Open Source Software Strikes Back!

Last February Miner Librarians presented “Biblio-Management Smackdown: EndNote vs. RefWorks.”  Now, a year later, we are reprising that topic with a twist; we also will be talking about Mendeley, an open-source bibliographic management system.

Join Linda Hasman, Marilyn Rosen, and Lorraine Porcello for a showdown at HIGH NOON on Wednesday, February 27, to decide which of these software programs is right for YOU!

• They all import citations from many databases.

• They all create personal databases of references.

• They all format bibliographies and manuscripts using different citations styles.

Which program will come out on top?

The showdown begins at 12 PM sharp in Miner Library’s History of Medicine Room, 1-6224.

There will be freebies! Feel free to bring your lunch.
