High Noon at Miner Library Presents: It is 4:00 Somewhere: Tea Beyond the Bag — Join us on Wednesday, February 25 at Noon

There is a lot that goes into making that perfect cup! Whatever leaves you’re brewing, there are important factors to consider: How much tea?  What water temperature? Steeping time? And what is the difference between black, green, oolong, and pu-erh tea anyway?

Unravel these mysteries and more with guest speaker Jack Porcello.  He will take us on tour of tea from elegant white leaf to full bodied fermented teas, and even a side foray into herbals.  Enjoy the magnificent culture of the cuppa as we explore the second most consumed beverage in the world.

Join us at noon on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in the History of Medicine Room at Miner Library. Feel free to invite your colleagues and bring your lunch!

For more information, contact Lorraine Porcello at 275-3247 or 341-0378.
