De-stress with Strong PETS @ 3:30 on Wed., 12/14

Students with Strong PETS

Join us on Wednesday, December 14, for a visit from our favorite team of care givers… Strong P.E.T.S.  (Pets Engaged in Therapeutic Socialization).

Beyond the benefits of animal-human interaction like lower blood pressure and reduced stress, interacting with animals can increase our levels of oxytocin, a hormone that helps us feel happy and trusting. (And who doesn’t need that, right?)

Strong P.E.T.S. volunteers will stop by @ 3:30 p.m., after their “rounds” on the in-patient units.

Got a few minutes? De-stress with us on December 14.
