High Noon at Miner Library Presents: “Cycle-ology: Health Benefits and Other Tips of Bicycling.” Presented on April 26 at Noon

Spring is finally here! And with it comes thoughts of spending more time outdoors. Join us for the next High Noon talk where we learn all about the bicycling scene in Rochester.

Dr. Scott MacRae will discuss the health benefits of cycling, provide tips for commuting to work on your bike and updates on Rochester’s bicycling infrastructure.

About the Speaker: Dr. Scott MacRae is the Director of Refractive Services in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. MacRae is one of the most experienced and respected refractive surgeons in the world. In addition to his professional life, Dr. MacRae is passionate about bicycling. He is President of the Rochester Cycling Alliance where he promotes bicycles for transportation, sport and health, and provides input on government activities concerning legislation affecting cycling.
