Library System Maintenance

On May 29-30, the following functions will be unavailable:

  • Hold requests via Alma
    Please place requests prior to May 29th if possible. Otherwise, staff will be available to make note of your requests and take action when the system is running again.
     
  • Interlibrary loan (ILL) requests from Alma
    Please visit https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/libraries/miner/illiad/ to place ILL requests during the system shutdown.
     
  • Renewing materials
    Items with a June 1, 2021 due date will be auto-renewed for you.
     
  • Access to “My Account”
    If you wish to renew materials and/or review items within your account, Answer Desk staff will be available to check for you.
     
  • Saving materials of interest
    You can continue to e-mail or save the details of desired materials using the “Articles, Books and More” search interface.

All searching capabilities on the library’s website will remain intact. Please continue to search for the materials you need.

The Miner Library Answer Desk is staffed 10am-2pm on the weekends. The library is currently only open to students with swipe access at this time.
